The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) has launched its new marketing platform, “VALORES AMPI,” nationwide to support and reactivate the real estate market in Mexico.
The platform seeks to prevent fraud, provide transparency and optimize real estate operations.
“The market has been updating rapidly, especially in the technological area. For this reason, since last year, we began to strengthen the platforms to offer our partners better services that help streamline sales operations,” said the president of the AMPI, Ignacio Lacunza, to the publication of the real estate industry Inmobiliare.
Lacunza explained that all properties must pass legal and tax controls before being listed on the platform.
On launch day, the platform had 700 properties, and its goal is to reach 120,000 units in the short and medium term, Lacunza added.
The platform currently has 6,000 members, which Lacunza is sure will increase as the platform becomes more successful.
Lacunza also said that AMPI is committed to the reactivation of the post-Covid-19 Mexican economy through a new program called AMPI Ambassadors of Real Estate Investment. The program intends to provide publicity and support to the real estate industries of various states and cities, in part, by making the public aware of the financial incentives for real estate offered by state and municipal governments.
Currently, the association operates in Morelos, Sinaloa, Guanajuato, Baja California, Baja California Sur, and Tamaulipas, and its objective is to function internationally.
“We will start with the United States and Brazil, mainly because they are the associations with which we have collaboration agreements,” explained Lacunza.
In October, AMPI will celebrate its 52nd national congress in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. More than 1,500 real estate agents, developers, and investors expect to attend to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the real estate market.
