November kicks off the winter season in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit

The recently celebrated launch of the 26th Festival Gourmet International at the exquisite Tierra Luna by Hotel Garza Blanca Kicked off the winter season 2021/22. Vallarta’s Glitterati rubbed shoulders with celebrated local chefs and their invited colleagues from around the world, representatives from the three levels of government, and gastronomy media from around the world to make it a night to remember.

The Festival Gourmet has established itself as one of the premier culinary events in the country and the official start to the winter season in the destination.

If you were not on the guest list, worry not; the festival runs until 20 November and features a bevy of international chefs, culinary events, talks, and other activities. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to savor incredible creations by some of the world’s most innovative chefs partnering with Vallarta’s leading eateries. You’ll enjoy a vast array of baked goods, international food stalls, independent clothing and jewelry designers, live music, cafés, and other social areas to sit and catch up with old friends.

La Cruz Market is just as famous and offers similar wares and entertainment. It is open on Sundays from 9:00 am. Located in the gorgeous La Cruz de Huanacaxtle with its chic boutiques and beautiful marina, it makes for a lovely day out.

Finally, Art and Market at Marina Vallarta offer art, music, food, accessories, entertainment in a great setting with dozens of cafes and restaurants perfect for people watching. Open Thursdays from 6 – 10 pm.
