- When dicing the tomato, do your best to avoid the seeds and pulp in the center. This can water down your salsa and make it a little mushy.
- When dicing your peppers, it’s best to use a fork and a knife to avoid getting “spicy fingers”. Also, if you’re not a huge spicy-food-lover, avoid the seeds and the inner “pith” or white veiny part of the pepper.
- Play with the ingredients! You can add essentially anything to this base recipe to create something even more delicious! Add mango and avocado for a tropical treat, or parsley and basil for something more aromatic. The options are endless!
