Here a few general questions and answers: Q: What is the general required length of stay? A: Normally a 5 to 7 night stay is required. Many villas do accept shorter stays, some long terms per request. During the Christmas and New Years Holiday period and in some cases Thanksgiving and/or Easter, most villas require a minimum of 7 nights. Christmas and NYE might require a full 14 night stay. It is at the Owner's discretion. During major holidays, you may stay only for 10 days but the rate might be based on 14 nights. Q: Are the rates per person or for the entire villa? A: Rates are for the entire villa, but there can be no events, weddings or large gatherings allowed in the villas without prior arrangements with a written permission. Villas may not be occupied by more guests than specified in the rental contract; in general 2 per room. Rates are based on occupancy and additional fees may apply. Q: If we do not book all the bedrooms in a villa will the other bedrooms be used? A: Absolutely not. The entire villa is yours. You will never have to share a villa with anyone other than those in your party. Q: Does a weekly rental always start on the same day each week?
A: In most cases, arrival and departure day is preferred on Saturday but many properties will allow other dates upon request. A: Winter / High Season begin in general November 1st and until May 15th. Low season / Summer take effect from May 16th to October 31st. Holiday rates and dates also varies upon properties and calendar year. Q: Do we have to pay full rent if we book a home with more bedrooms then we need? A: Many villas can be rented at a reduced rate when you do not use all the bedrooms. This is noted on the villa rate listings on this site. Ex: a 6 bedroom Villa might accept a 3 bedroom rental. Q: Aren't villas more expensive than a hotel? A: As you explore the villas we represent you'll see that many villas are often much less than prices at hotels of the same quality standard. When you factor in all the benefits and amenities of a private villa, you'll quickly realize that villas offer a superb value. (Remember to compare rates per room/ per night). Q: Do all of your villas include staff personnel? A: This varies from property to property. Most Villas include a cook, maid and house "mgr". Condos often provide maid service only. Each property is different. Our Concierge service can arrange for extra staff, weekly, nightly, daily or just for private events. Q: What is your deposit and cancellation policy? A: For most, a 50% deposit is required within 7 days to hold a reservation. Reservations are not considered confirm until the deposit is received in our office. The balance of your payment is due 90 to 60 days prior to your arrival date (pending property). Terms & conditions apply. Some properties have their own rental agreement and/or terms & conditions. Travel insurance is strongly recommended and available on our website. Q: Are children welcome in all rentals. A: Some properties have restrictions or rules. Certain homes are more child-friendly than others in terms of safety and sometime bedding configuration. Some properties do NOT allow children. Please ask our agents.
